Kappa 5 certified in B-Roof T3 class

We are happy to communicate our customers, to have obtained the B-Roof T3 certificate class on the Kappa 5 single metal sheet panel (K5), highlighting a further and important step regarding the continuous research and attention in the certifications, carried out in the recent years.


The certification is present on all Kappa 5 (K5) panels from 30 mm to 100 mm thicknesses in polyurethane (PUR), in all possible combinations having: Steel 0.3 + Bitumen Roofing Felt, Fiberglass or Centesimal Aluminum.


The test performed is the most severe in terms of fire behavior on foam panels, in fact, it differs from those of lower classification (eg T2) by the fact that the flame test is carried out even on the weakest point of the panel (the overlap - joint) and with additional penalizing factors: constant air flow and external radiation.
